Wow! I was impressed by the authenticity of flavors, atmosphere, and friendly service at this fusion flavor establishment! I ordered a steak bowl with avocado and fried tostones. The steak was very flavorful and the tostones were a balance of crispy and tender. The cilantro salsa was bomb and the hot sauce was not extremely hot but had traditional flavors. The music and decor added to the ambience even though you order at the counter. I enjoyed everything, but next time I’m coming to try the empanadas and arepas because the meat was excellent
I ordered 25 empanadas and they were AMAZING!! The beef one is my favorite. A lot of places make them with more potato than meat, not this spot! They also have guava and cheese empanadas. Never heard of that before but they were different, not bad, but my favorite is still beef. The chicken empanadas were really good too! And the service was outstanding. This is definitely my number 1 go to spot for Colombian empanadas from now on!
I've been here twice and always have had kind, friendly service. I spent about 20 on an arepa burger and maduros (see photos) .. they are VERY delicious everything I've had here has been awesome. Right off Church Street, good food, good service, good vibes. Recommend!
I went to the Super Rico Colombian Restaurant last Friday for a birthday meal. I chose the super bandeja and let me tell me they succeeded. I felt like I was directly transported to Bogota! I was in for a treat. The Super Bandeja Paisa consisted of white rice, black beans , grilled 80z steak, chorizo sausage, chicharrón, fried egg, avocado, sweet plantains and a mini white arepa. I felt like eating for two , that’s how generous the portions were. All the different meats were so juicy, flavourful. The chicharrón was nice & crunchy and had some soft tasty fat. The chorizo sausage had some flavour, I enjoyed bite after bite. The plantains were very sweet, a nice treat for my tastebuds. The fried egg, black beans, rice, white arepa nicely balanced out the different meats. The chimichurri sauce gave the different meats some extra flavour. The Sauce was so good, I asked for a second one. To drink, I had a delicious fresh maracuyá ( passion) juice. I highly recommend anyone ( tourists or locals ) that is seeking authentic Colombian food to pay the restaurant a visit and try their dishes. I’ll definitely be going back to Super Rico when visiting downtown Orlando again.
Stopped here on our trip to Orlando and oh my goodness, so delicious, we ended up going back another time! The iced cafe con leche, yum! The beef empanadas and torta de choclo con queso, perfect seasoning! The bandeja was also incredible! Our son loved the agua de maracuya and burger! They had a great selection of beers as well! Enjoyed the service as well, will definitely go back when we’re in the area!
Phenomenal food!!! Very impressed and portions are large! Definitely a Colombian experience you can’t get everywhere. Fully recommend! ;)
I have passed by this place for years and have always seen it busy. I decided to finally try it out and it did not disappoint at all. Everything was crispy and well cooked. I decided to order from the Bites section of the menu so I could try more items. Young lady in front was patient in explaining the menu and how ordering worked there. Very kind!
This is probably a Top 20 or even Top 10 restaurant in the USA for me now. The service was perfect (they happily accommodated multiple substitutions) and their smiles lit up our day! The atmosphere was super pleasant and enjoyable (including music). Best of all, obviously, was the super tasty and unique food. We highly recommend the amazingly crispy and flavorful 'Arepa Burger' and the super generous 'Picada Platter' (both pictured). I seriously can't wait to bring my wife here next time we are in Orlando. Thank you for such a delightful experience, Super Rico!!
